Opening hours: 

Open daily from May 1 to September 30

Tuesday to Saturday   from 10 a.m. until 12 noon and from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays from 2 p.m.   until 4 p.m. 

From October to April, guided group tours are available only by appointment

Guided tours in the town theatre:

Guided tours (in German) are available for single persons as well as for groups without appointment and without extra charge at the following times:
Tuesday to Saturday: 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays: 2 p.m.
Guided tours outside of these times are available for groups of 10 persons or more by appointment.

Languages:

For our foreign visitors, we have provided leaflets about the town theatre in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Czech and Slovak. Additionally, there are descriptive texts in the town theatre in German and English.

Hints:

 Persons with restricted mobility:
The historic town theater is on the first floor (29 steps) and can be reached barrier-free with an elevator.
For people with limited freedom of movement, there are sanitary facilities in the foyer of the building 
and 30m away from the City Theater near the elevator of the New Town Hall. Parking spaces for
disabled are located on the historical town square of Grein and in the Rathausgasse as well as on 
the Donaulände.

 Photographing/Filming:
Filming and photography without flash and tripod is only permitted for private purposes. 
Photography for commercial and scientific purposes as well as distribution on the internet require 
permission from the theater management. We reserve the right to prohibit photography entirely 
on a case-by-case basis.
